From 2016 - 2019, Abu Unity (along with other community leaders throughout Virginia) had the opportunity to work with the Educational Fund to Stop Gun Violence (Ed Fund) in the creation of the Education to Action toolkit.  The toolkit is a grassroots approach to engaging impacted communities around gun violence prevention.

The Education to Action toolkit provides a guide around root causes to gun violence, Virginia's legislative process, and how to use your voice and lived experience to advocate for policy change.  LaTonya "Abys" held Education to Action workshops throughout Hampton Roads upon its release.
